GMAT
GMAT is a computer adaptative test required by Business school in India and Globally. It is primarily required for MBA students and other management courses. Prestigious B schools such as IIMs and XLRIs prefer a good GMAT score and it improves the chances of admission. The applicants are tested for their Analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and Quantitative skills. The GMAC is the owner and administrator of GMAT exams conducted globally.
Scoring
A student can take exams a total of 8 times in a lifetime and no more than five times in a year and with a gap of 16 calendar days. The exam score is valid for five years. The GMAT is tested for four study skills – Quantitative Reasoning (QR), Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), Integrated Reasoning (IR) and Verbal Reasoning (VR).
